Membership Code of Conduct

HWCLB is registered business under the Law of British Columbia

  1. Policy Against Harassment: Our commitment is to foster a respectful environment for all community members. Any form of harassment, such as sexual harassment, verbal abuse, or discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation, will not be tolerated. Those found engaging in harassment may face disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of membership.

  2. Respectful Engagement: Our community comprises individuals from various backgrounds and viewpoints. While we encourage open discussion and debate, we expect all members to communicate respectfully, refraining from personal attacks or abusive language.

  3. Encouraging Safe and Inclusive Conversations: Discussions should maintain a safe and inclusive atmosphere. To uphold professionalism, discussions on religion or politics are prohibited. Derogatory remarks related to race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. Members who post inappropriate content will be requested to edit or remove their posts; failure to comply may risk their membership.

  4. Confidentiality: Our community is a confidential space for idea-sharing and collaboration. We trust members to honor the confidentiality of discussions and shared materials.

  5. Compliance with Laws: Members must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to intellectual property, antitrust, and data privacy.

  6. Non-Solicitation: Our community is non-commercial and not for promotional purposes. Solicitation or marketing of any kind (including products, services, groups, or events) is prohibited. For sponsorship or advertising inquiries, please contact the community administrators.
