We had the pleasure of sitting down with Julia Falci — a Holistic Business Coach, Marketing Strategist, and one of the trusted experts within the Happy Women Club community. With over 15 years of experience, Julia brings a rare blend of heart and strategy to her work, helping entrepreneurs grow purpose-driven businesses without burning out. In our conversation, she shared her honest journey — from bold leaps and deep self-awareness to sustainable success built on clarity, confidence, and compassion.
Happy Women Club: How do you balance your personal life with your professional ambitions?
I see rest as a productive part of my business. Whenever I notice brain fog or that I'm not being truly effective at my desk, I prioritize stepping away—often going for a walk in nature. Not only does this recharge me, but it's also when some of my best ideas for my business come through.
I've also built a strong sense of self-awareness, learning to listen to what my body and mind need. I use a cycle tracking app to stay attuned to the rhythms of my body, adjusting my schedule based on the different phases of my cycle.
There's no such thing as perfect balance every day—some days require more energy, some more rest. What’s made the biggest difference for me is embracing that natural ebb and flow without guilt, and honoring what I need to stay both energized and inspired.

Happy Women Club: Can you share a story of a time when you had to step out of your comfort zone to achieve your goals?
When I first launched my business in January 2020, it started as a side hustle. By 2021, things were going well enough that I set a bold goal: double my revenue so I could leave my full-time job and fully commit to entrepreneurship.
As the year progressed, I realized something critical — if I wanted to grow, I needed to increase my output. I faced two options: hire help to create content while I kept the stability of my job, or take a leap of faith, quit, and dedicate myself fully to my business.
It wasn’t an easy decision. I had experienced burnout once before, years earlier, after pushing myself too hard while building my first business. I knew I couldn’t repeat that pattern if I wanted long-term success.
So I hired a part-time team member to help with daily content creation, hoping it would be the best of both worlds. But after three months, despite the increased activity, my sales stayed exactly the same.
At that point, I had to make a real choice. Deep down, I felt the potential of my business—but I also knew it needed my full energy to truly thrive. So, with a lot of fear but even more determination, I let my part-time help go, resigned from my job, and took the leap.
It was one of the scariest decisions I’ve ever made. But I showed up every day, stayed consistent with my strategy, and kept moving forward even when it was uncomfortable.
Now, four years later, I'm grateful to say I'm still fully self-employed, running a business that supports my lifestyle, my health, and my mission.
And today, one of the things I’m most passionate about is helping other entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses too—businesses that don’t require burnout to succeed, but instead create space for both growth and well-being.
Happy Women Club: What advice would you give to someone who is afraid to follow their dreams?
We have so much life ahead of us. When you think about the past 10 years — everything you've experienced, the ways you've grown, and how much your life has changed — it’s a powerful reminder that transformation is always possible. Now imagine what could happen in the next 10, 20, or even 30 years.
One of my favorite reminders is the quote: "We tend to overestimate what we can accomplish in a year, and underestimate what we can accomplish in a decade."
Big dreams don't happen overnight, but they are absolutely possible when you give yourself the time and permission to pursue them. If you're afraid, that's okay — fear is normal. But don’t let it keep you stuck. You have a lifetime ahead of you to build, grow, and create something incredible.
Happy Women Club: What practices do you incorporate into your daily routine to stay spiritually grounded?
Mindfulness is one of the key pillars that keeps me spiritually grounded, and it shows up in many different forms throughout my day.
I naturally do multiple check-ins with my mind and body — not on a schedule, but intuitively — to notice how I'm feeling, where my energy is, and how I can best support myself. It’s a simple practice, but it’s helped me stay connected to my emotions, regulate my nervous system, and move through the day with more awareness.
I also love creating intentional pauses between tasks by using essential oils. I actually co-created a line of essential oil blends with a friend who is an aromatherapist, designed specifically to support the workplace: one for grounding between tasks, one for enhancing focus during deep work, and another to elevate energy when connecting with others. These small rituals make a big difference in keeping me centered and intentional.
Meditation, yoga, walking, journaling, and reading are also part of my practice — but I don’t follow a strict routine. I simply try to do a little bit of what I need each day, trusting that every day might call for something different — and that’s good enough.
"The most sustainable business strategy? Listen to your body. Trust your intuition. Stay consistent." - Julia Falci
Happy Women Club: What is your approach to networking and building professional relationships?
I genuinely love networking — it’s been a huge part of how I built and continue to grow my business in ways I could have never imagined.
My approach to networking starts long before the actual event or conversation. I focused first on building strong brand authority, trust, and credibility in my field. Coming from a decade-long marketing career with leading organizations helped open doors for speaking opportunities and sharing my expertise publicly.
Once that foundation was in place, networking became a way to bring people into my world — whether they became collaborators, friends, or clients. For me, networking is never about the immediate sale; it’s about genuine connection.
When someone enters my circle, they continue to experience my work through what I share — my content, emails, testimonials, and consistent presence. Trust continues to build long after the first meeting, creating the space for natural, authentic growth in the relationship.
This approach has led not just to new clients, but to lifelong friendships, creative collaborations, and opportunities that I truly treasure.
Happy Women Club: What advice would you give to other women looking to advance in their careers or start their own businesses?
My advice is: know where you're heading — and be bold about it. Don't shrink your dreams to make them easier or safer. If you aim small, that's exactly what you'll create. Instead, allow yourself to dream big, to envision the life and career you truly desire.
Once you have that vision, make a plan and take the first steps. You don’t need to see the entire path right away — you just need to know where you’re going. Trust that as you move forward, the next steps will reveal themselves.
Clarity, commitment, and action are powerful. When you start walking toward your boldest dreams, the universe has a way of showing you the rest of the staircase.
Happy Women Club: How do you identify happiness?
Not every day feels light or easy (or happy) — and that's okay. Tough days are part of the journey. As I like to say, nothing is permanent — both the highs and the lows are temporary, and we are guaranteed to experience both many times throughout life.
What matters most is learning to navigate it all — the good days and the hard ones — while staying true to yourself. To me, that’s where real happiness lives.
That said, I feel happy — not because everything is perfect (it's not), but because I am living in alignment with who I truly am. I feel proud of the life I'm building, the people I choose to surround myself with, and the way I allow myself to evolve without forcing myself into someone else’s expectations.
